I work a lot with trauma and chronic health issues. I am a National Certified Counselor and Board Certified Patient Advocate. I have completed the Trauma Research Foundation's certificate program in Traumatic Stress Studies and the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine's (NICABM) Advanced Master Program on the Treatment of Trauma, been certified as a Clinical Trauma Specialist by the Trauma Institute International, finished Level 1 training in Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, and studied an alphabet soup of trauma-informed modalities (see My Approach for more details).

In my former life, I was a researcher and writer. I can't quite quit the habit, it seems, which is why I have this website.
